We are always delighted to welcome you at St. George's Church for the baptism, also called christening, of your child.  We also welcome adults seeking to know more about the Christian faith, or those who are simply intrigued.

Baptism marks the beginning of a journey of faith that is understood through the ancient stories of the people of God that are contained in the Bible.  Jesus, whom we seek to follow, was baptised by his cousin John in the river Jordan at the start of his ministry.  And following his death and resurrection he appeared to the disciples telling them: 'Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.'
